For 11 years now Eckental is a constant venue for one of the most demanded and worldwide ATP-Tournament.
This performance every year is only possible because of our about 200 complimentary helpers
and the over 100 sponsor partners.
| 1992 | The first time the tournament in Eckental has a prize money (DM 5.ooo,-) |
| Bis 1996 | The event increases to a tournament with one of the largest |
| amounts of prize money in Germany with female, male and youth | |
| competitors. The total budget was DM 150.000,- | |
| 1997 | The OKAL-CUP was admitted to the worldwide ATP-TOUR in the category US-Dollar 50.000,- |
| 2001 und 2002 | The tournament was elected on position 15, out of the 140 Challenger Tour |
| Tournaments, by players and officials. | |
| 2004 | 1,4 million Euros were invested in the covered court. Since then the |
| popularity by players, sponsors and visitors increases clearly. | |
| 2005 | Bauer Watertechnology became new title sponsor. |
| 2006 | The tournament celebrates the 10th jubilee |
| 2007 | The Davis-Cup players Rainer Schüttler and Alexander Waske came to Eckental |
| 2008 | Dennis Gremelmeyr succeeded, as the first and only one so far, in winning |
| the tournament the second time. | |
| 2009 | The “Jamaican” year at the House of Sports |
